"I met Susie in 2019 when I applied for, and was appointed to co-chair, the City's Community Advisory Committee on Homelessness (CACH). New to local government service, I leaned heavily on Susie, our committee facilitator, to help me in this new leadership role. The CACH was undertaking an extremely complex agenda and members, both housed and those with lived experience, brought their strong passions and convictions to each meeting. Susie helped me build a process that allowed for each person to have a voice and be heard, and for the committee to move towards consensus. I have no doubt that Susie will inhabit the values of listening, learning, and building consensus, if she is elected to Council. I am completely behind her."
